What does the $199 annual plan cover?

Are USPTO government fees included?
If you file the provisional yourself, USPTO government fees are set by the government and billed separately — we always show them before you file. If you choose Attorney-Managed Filing ($729), the USPTO provisional filing fee is already included in that price.
Do I need an attorney to use Idea Clerk?
U.S.-based founders can prepare and file a provisional application themselves. Foreign-domiciled founders are required to file through a U.S. attorney, available as a managed add-on.
What if I have more than one invention?
You can add additional patent applications as add-ons, priced per patent, so you only pay for the protection you actually need.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
