What do the Founder and Growth plans include?
Founder ($99/mo, or $69/mo billed annually) includes 1 patent application and 3 Invention Disclosure documents each month. Growth ($199/mo, or $139/mo billed annually) includes 3 patent applications and 30 Invention Disclosure documents each month — plus the Idea Clerk Assistant and secure export for investors.
Are USPTO government fees included?
If you file the provisional yourself, USPTO government fees are set by the government and billed separately — we always show them before you file. If you choose Attorney-Managed Filing ($729), the USPTO provisional filing fee is already included in that price.
Do I need an attorney to use Idea Clerk?
U.S.-based founders can prepare and file a provisional application themselves. Foreign-domiciled founders are required to file through a U.S. attorney, available as a managed add-on.
What if I have more than one invention?
Yes. Add a prior art novelty analysis (5 searches per month) or attorney-managed filing whenever you need it, so you only pay for the protection you actually use.
